Combining a 10,000-watt generator with a 230-amp constant-current DC welder, the Champion 10,000 is ideal for farm, general construction, and emergency power applications. This unit is designed for Stick welding with quick and easy arc starts. It also performs general scratch start DC TIG, and Flux Cored welding. The engine is warranted separately by the engine manufacturer. Kohler gasoline engine, 20 HP at 3600 RPM. Fuel-efficient, low-maintenance, twin-cylinder, 4-cycle, overhead-valve. 10 gallon fuel tank for extended run time. DC weld output for smooth arc performance and easy starts. Four 120 volt (20 amp) and one 120 / 240 volt (50 amp) receptacles with push-button reset circuit breakers. Hobart's new Field Current Control maintains auxiliary power output for strong motor starting capability and gives quick arc starts. Heavy-duty construction with enclosed engine design, large battery, rugged electrical connections and wiring. "No tools" oil change and standard hour meter to help maintain routine scheduled oil servicing. Single knob current control for easy set up. 20 ft electrode cable with holder, 15 ft work cable with clamp.
